Wedding Weekend Workshop Recap

weddingweekendworkshop recap blogThank you for celebrating our Wedding Weekend Workshop with us! We couldn't have created such magic without our guests. Small groups were able to receive hands-on instruction to guide them through practical elements of photographing and filming weddings. Our talented speakers assessed many of the lighting factors we encounter when shooting weddings, and showed participants just how to make the most of any couple's special day. After hands-on training, customers enjoyed exclusive Canon discounts and free 13x19" prints of their workshop images.

Celebrated filmmaker, David Perry, introduced our workshop to supplementing their wedding photography with timeless films. He offered detailed advice about audio equipment, video stabilizing gear, and creative aspects of capturing emotion at weddings.

Pepper Nix, a 6-time award winning Best-in-State Wedding Photographer, led a powerful workshop about the importance of providing your own light sources as an artist. Choosing proper tools gives your work the high standard of consistency your clients rely on. Workshop participants were able to practice portraiture in a dark room using Pepper's Westcott Flex LED Lights.

Amanda Castleberry guided our workshop through four hours of detailed training in the field she knows best - natural light bridal photography. Her intensive workshop covered shaping natural light, wedding detail shots, posing couples, and more.

She taught wedding photographers how to simply use portable reflectors to fill your images with dreamy daylight.

An outdoor venue or exotic location shouldn't limit your lighting control. Dave Ward was able to prove the power and portability Profoto's B2 To-Go Kit has to offer. These lightweight off-camera strobes can dramatically separate each subject from the ambient light of the background without requiring a studio setup.Shelby1web
