The immense success of our last hands-on workshop with photographer, Achim Soelter, has earned us another unique downtown experience with him! This time, we are limiting attendance to a more intimate group so he can offer one-on-one instruction. Achim will be leading a golden hour street photography tour of Salt Lake City on March 12th, from 2pm-5pm. We will meet at pictureline, then travel to locations around Salt Lake City to capture unique street shots. Please be on time, and bring your digital or film camera!

Have you ever been fascinated with the concept of digital and film street photography? The process, technique, and ability to capture candid images in public spaces, often with complete strangers as subjects, is one that is difficult to perfect. Luckily for us, master street photographer Achim Soelter is based in Salt Lake City. You can often find him in the streets downtown practicing his craft, making timeless images. Seeing Achim in action accompanied by direct instruction on technique is sure to improve your street photography skills.
Originally from Gronau, Germany, Achim developed a love of photography after a friend gave him an AE-1 and a roll of black and white film. His passion continued to grow through work related travel, giving him the opportunity to photograph cities all over the world. He found his niche with street photography, and has made his mark on the scene in a big way.
