Hey, photographers. It’s time to take your relationship with light to the next level. Like, "meet-the-parents" next level. Welcome to Shaping Light, where we stop letting light push us around and start telling it who's boss. Spoiler alert: the boss is you.
What will you learn?
Oh, just a few life-changing things like:
- How to charm natural light into making your subjects look like they just stepped out of a magazine spread.
- The dark arts of off-camera flash, where shadows become your playground, and drama levels hit a solid 10/10.
- Mixing both natural and artificial light like a cocktail bartender—but for photons.
We’ll dive into hands-on practice because reading about light is about as useful as trying to pet a cloud. Whether you’re in a studio, the great outdoors, or that magic golden-hour glow, you’ll leave this workshop feeling like the Gandalf of lighting. ("You shall not pass" on this workshop.)
What to bring:
- Your camera and lenses, because that’s kind of the point.
- A good attitude, because teaching grumpy people sucks.
- Something to take notes with unless you have a memory like a steel trap.
