The G-Technology 8TB G-RAID 2 Thunderbolt 3 USB 3.1 Drive is designed for multi-stream HD, 4K, HDR workflows, and demanding applications. This device provides up to 8TB of storage that is made up of two 4TB 7200 rpm 3.5" hard drives and is equipped with two Thunderbolt 3 ports, one USB 3.1 (USB 3.1 Gen 2) port, and one HDMI port. At speeds of up to 500 MB/s the Thunderbolt 3 ports are used to interface with your host system, the other can be daisy-chained to up to five additional devices. For video passthrough If your system doesn't have Thunderbolt 3, you can use the 10 Gb/s USB 3.1 port, while the HDMI port supports HDCP 2.2, HDR, and 4K/60 fps. You can use this G-RAID with USB Type-A system, a USB Type-C to Type-A cable is included that supports 10 Gb/s USB 3.1 (USB 3.1 Gen 2), 5 Gb/s USB 3.0 (USB 3.1 Gen 1), and 480 Mb/s USB 2.0.
