The Fuji LH-X100 Lens Hood with Adapter Ring is a lens hood and adaptor ring specifically designed for the FinePix X100. The lens hood, as with other lens hoods, is made to keep undesired side lighting from entering the lens. It does this by extending and shading the end of the lens. Furthermore, since the hood extends from the lens, it gives extra protection from accidental impact. The adapter replaces the lens ring that comes with the X100 and can be used for mounting 49mm filters.
