The Dotline Hotshoe to PC Male/Female Adapter is used to mount a shoe-mount flash on a tripod for off-camera flash. Its base has 1/4-20 thread, with two female PC sockets, one on either side of the unit, and a hot shoe contact on top. The base also fits into a hot shoe, with a locking collar.
