Day 1: Welcome & Golden Hour Magic

Afternoon: Arrival and check-in at the designated meeting point. Meet your instructors and fellow participants for a warm welcome and orientation session. Equipment from Canon, Nikon, Sony, and Fuji will be available for setup and testing.

Evening: Head out for your first photo session. Capture the Tetons reflected in the Snake River during the golden hour and sunset. Learn foundational techniques for landscape photography.

Night: We will return to accommodations after a full day of learning new techniques and capturing stunning photos .

Optional night photography session to capture the full moon highlighted by the mountain range (conditions permitting).

Day 2: Wildlife and Mountain Majesty

Early Morning: An early morning awaits, and we set out to shoot the sunrise. The morning light kisses the bold and majestic Mount Moran or the rugged peaks of Teewinot with the surrounding foliage. Reflections, color balance, and composition come into focus as we find moments of delight.

After sunrise, the wildlife begin to emerge as we travel through the Colter Bay area.

Our instructors teach techniques for using long telephoto lenses to capture bears, bison, pronghorns, and other wildlife.

As the animals begin to retreat mid-day and our grumbling stomachs are mistaken for Bison groans, we break for lunch and an editing session. Instructors will walk through post-processing tips and tricks using Lightroom, Photoshop, and other editing software.

Sunset takes us to Mormon Row. We frame the iconic barns with the Tetons in the background, focusing on light, texture, and storytelling.

Day 3: Hidden Gems and Advanced Techniques

At sunrise, we explore a serene sunrise location, where we will experiment with long exposures to capture the water’s smooth, glassy effect.

Late morning takes us to Jenny Lake and a short hike to capture views from Inspiration Point.

Later that day, an instruction session on advanced techniques, including bracketing, HDR photography, and wildlife tracking will be given. Hands-on assistance with telephoto lenses and advanced equipment.

With the newly learned techniques fresh in our minds, we’ll shoot sunset at nearby reflective ponds, focusing on moody skies and expansive views.

Day 4: Closing Session & Farewell

Final sunrise session capturing the iconic view made famous by Ansel Adams.

Afterwards, we’ll have a friendly group critique and review session. Share your favorite photos and receive constructive feedback from instructors and peers.

Wrapping up the workshop, we’ll bid farewell and distribution of certificates. Depart with unforgettable memories, newly learned techniques, and stunning photographs.

Note: Each day will include ample time for questions, one-on-one mentoring, and breaks to ensure a balance of learning and enjoyment. Participants are encouraged to bring personal gear.
