Description
The Panasonic Leica 10-25mm f1.7 DG Vario-Summilux Lens is built for mirrorless cameras mount: Micro Four Thirds, and enables full range f1.7 aperture brightness within the entire 20-50mm (35mm camera equivalent) zoom range. Along with an exceptionally high optical performance clearing the LEICA standards. Applicable for photo shooting as well as recording video. Satisfying both photographers and videographers.
With 17 elements in 12 groups, featuring three aspherical lenses and four Extra-low Dispersion lenses within the lens system effectively suppress chromatic aberration of magnification and axial chromatic aberration. For stunning resolution, the aspherical lenses also correct spherical aberration and distortion. Despite its outstanding optical performance lens system, as well as the use of aspherical lenses, the lens results in a lightweight compact size.
Compatible with a max 240-fps high-speed sensor drive realizes high-speed, with high-precision autofocusing. The Panasonic Leica 10-25mm lens excels in video recording performance. Silent operation is achieved by the inner focus drive system, in addition, the step less “de-clicked” micro-step drive system and aperture ring in the aperture control section help for the camera to easily correct to brightness changes while panning or zooming. This new optical design achieves exceptional barycentric stability that helps to minimize image shifts while in zoom. The focus clutch mechanism enables for instant AF/MF changing and accurate manual focusing. The Panasonic Leica 10-25mm f1.7 also excels in video recording performance. Suppression of focus breathing is enabled with a mechanism. Ultimately resolving the problem of all interchangeable lenses that are designed for still photography.
