RECAP:

We had such a wonderful time at Red Butte Garden. The garden was in full bloom so we were able to capture the minute details of lines on leaves, the prickly hairs on petals, and bees at work pollinating. Each image was a stunning delight into the insect kingdom and the beautiful flora in Utah.

Thanks to Sigma, our attendees were fully outfitted with a macro lens which enabled them to capture amazing images ranging from a lady bug eating aphids, to the shiny smooth texture on leaves, and the delicate color and veins of flower petals. Once again, this photowalk provided for great images and great opportunity to meet fellow macro photographers.

Roses, lilies, honeysuckles, lavender, and wildflowers galore!

Spring in Utah brings an incredible assortment of plants and insects that come to life in our dry climate. The shape of each unique flower, the bright colors, the bees collecting pollen, and the minute details that can easily go unnoticed are some of the many things that draw admirers to the world of macro photography.

Come join us as we take you on a walk through the beautiful Red Butte Gardens using macro lenses.
