Light on weight, not on features

Weighing in at an astonishing 320g (0.7lbs), the XCD 45mm f4 P is the lightest lens in the XCD lineup. But don't be fooled by the size. The 45mm f4 P still has the legendary optical performance that can be expected from Hasselblad, and as with the rest of the XCD lenses, it has a central leaf shutter built in, allowing for a wide range of shutter speeds and full flash sync up to 1/2000 sec.

Exceptional quality optics

The XCD 45mm f4 P features a new optical design that includes two aspherical elements, resulting in outstanding optical performance in a small and compact design. The autofocus motor and leaf shutter have both been redesigned to reduce noise, and the mechanical focus ring allows for an accurate and immediately responsive manual focus override. The design also allows for a minimum focus distance of 35 cm (13.8 in) with a reproduction ratio of 1:5.2, so the lens can also be useful for food or still life photography.
