Saturday Event 7am – 9am (MST)
Recap
We had a blast at Saturday’s Cowboys and Cattle event! Thanks to all who were able to attend. Big shout out to Chris Disckinson for amazing instruction and Canon for supplying loaner gear.
Description
Photograph real cowboys on a real ranch during an actual branding. You can't get more real than that! Participants will be stationed safely around the periphery of the branding corral but will have the opportunity to individually go into the center of the action with Chris Dickinson and the entire branding crew.
This event is separated in two parts—a lecture held at pictureline and an on-location event. Reserve your seat for a special presentation by photographer, Chris Dickinson, and The State of Utah’s Animal Industry Director, Leann Hunting on Friday, May 19th, from 6:30-8pm. Chris will share more about his work, and both speakers will offer insight and education on what to expect the following day. The on-location event will be Saturday from 7-9am.
We will be meeting at the Park and Ride in West Haven, UT at 6:30am and carpooling over to the ranch. Please be on time. For those that will be using vehicles for carpooling, with all the moisture this year, it's highly recommended to be in a 4x4 truck or similarly capable SUV.
Common courtesy on the ranch, DO NOT speed when entering or leaving. Please maintain 5 to 10 mph. Keep in mind, there are no bathrooms.
