Macro photography is not always easy, especially for beginners, but it is one of the most rewarding genres of photography you can do without complex equipment.

The MF12 is perfect for macro lighting, which enables you to shoot beautiful and sharp photos of small subjects, like plants, animals and insects, at extremely close distances. It's not only ideal to work individually, but can also serve as a multi-flash solution when several units attach to the mounting ring, forming a ring flash effect or more, other flexible light effects you may need to utilize.

The Power Behind the Scene

The small flash unit mounted on the stand is exactly what a macro photographer needs. Adjustable head for quick positioning, even extreme close-up range is within its reach. Compact size results in "invisibility", lighting up the object while hiding itself away easily from the frame.

Multi-flash Setup for Broader Usage

Working as a multiple-flash solution when attaching to the mounting ring, MF12 expands its usage exponentially more than the single unit. The combination can handle various lighting scenarios easily, depending on the number of flashes and the way you setup.

Starting with a few lights, the combination is bright enough to make up for the ever-changing natural light, while not over-shining to be obtrusive for small animals or insects.

When adding more flashes, it brings a brighter light source to light up larger space while reducing shadows on the subject.

Flexibility Helps Perfection

Featuring precise control, the multi-flash solution is available to work as a ring flash, but has far more functionality than that. Instead of illuminating forward only, every flash can rotate to a different angle freely and slide around the mounting ring for correct positioning. Whether your fine-tuning the light effect or creating another lighting style, the MF12 helps you experiment with light effortlessly until you reach the best effect possible.

The Extreme Close-Up Positioning Adapter features a specifically designed slope structure that helps to illuminate inwards and light up the narrow space right in front of the lens, where it is otherwise too close to focus. Especially suitable for shooting extreme close-up subjects. While the included Color Filters allow for adding colorful light effects, and color correcting flash temperature.

The mounting ring works for multi-flash solutions and expands the usability of the MF12 flash system to most common lens sizes. Adapter Ring Set features 8 different sizes (49mm, 52mm, 55mm, 58mm, 62mm, 67mm, 72mm, 77mm) which matches most common lenses on the market.

Universal Compatibility

As an off-camera TTL flash, MF12 can work with Godox XPro, X1, X2, and other triggers compatible with the major camera brands including Canon, Fujifilm, Nikon and Sony.

2.4G wireless technology enables long-distance transmission, adding more flexibility to your shooting. 5 groups with 32 channels each, help to prevent disturbances and interference when several wireless systems are shooting simultaneously.

Rechargeable High-Performance Battery

The powerful built-in lithium battery supports a maximum 500 full-powered flashes and 0.01-1.7s recycling time, which guarantees a long-time creation without interruption. When the power runs down, you can easily recharge it through the included Type-C cable.
