The Shimoda Top Loader is a photographer's dream come true! This accessory bag is perfect for a mirrorless or non-gripped DSLR camera, equipped with a mounted mid-size zoom lens like a 24-70mm 2.8. If needed, the bag can also be expanded to fit a mounted 70-200mm 2.8 lens. The bag is crafted from the same durable and water-resistant resin-coated nylon material as the Shimoda backpacks.
Versatile Carry Options
The Top Loader can be carried in four different ways, making it highly versatile. You can use it as a shoulder bag, mount it to your chest with optional Shimoda Accessory Straps, attach it to the waist belt of a Shimoda pack, or wear it attached to a belt independent of a Shimoda pack.
The interior of the bag has a padded divider that lets drone pilots pack their DJI Mavic, remote, and batteries safely. For added convenience, the toploader can be placed inside your backpack as a separate camera insert.
Uniquely Modular
This Top Loader is designed to be highly modular, making it a perfect fit for the larger Shimoda system. As part of the larger Shimoda system, it can be used in our Action X series through the side-access panel, attached to the backpack hip belt, or mounted to the harness of your Explore/Action pack with optional Accessory Straps.
Expandable for Telephoto Zoom Lenses
Additionally, the Top Loader is expandable for telephoto zoom lenses. The base quickly unzips to allow packing of a 70-200 2.8 lens or carrying a 24-70mm 2.8 with the lens hood extended. This feature helps reduce the amount of gear required to carry different sized lenses in a top-load packing situation.
Another great feature of the Top Loader is its front panel pockets. These pockets provide quick and protected access to smaller items like lens clothes, lens caps, and other accessories.
