DGM Students are encouraged to sign up and participate in the club associated with your degree. There is no better way to network with others who have the same vision and passions as you do. In addition, our beloved advisors will be on hand, too, for guidance on questions related to each degree as well as guidance for graduation – especially for concurrent enrollment students who may have made their way to the event and would like to join our merry band of digital misfits.

Alumni Keynote [ 6:00 – 6:40 ] Chris Newman, Owner of CineChopper and CineChopper University, as well as a DGM alumnus, will discuss his renowned filming with drones for such entities as IMAX and the opportunities the industry has to offer for those with the flight-pattern to succeed.
Industry Keynote [ 7:00 – 7:50 ] Michael Janda, Chief Creative Officer of EKR, and author of Burn your Portfolio, will speak about his professional career and what advice he can give to budding media professionals to make it in a ever-demanding industry and live to tell the tale. Bring a copy to have signed!

In order to qualify for a prize from a participating industry guests, students must engage a representative during the workshops sessions, or in the ADMS, in a worthwhile conversation around their wares to receive a prize ticket. Don’t be shy, speak up, and show our sponsors you’re one of the cool kids on the block by asking in-depth questions. Oh, and one small caveat–all winners must be present at the final giveaway to claim the prize from the industry participant. You dis; you miss!
