Join pictureline, Fujifilm and Canon in welcoming Michael Clark and Stephen Johnson as keynote speakers at PhotoOp 20, the Wasatch Camera Club’s ninth annual conference. Held in Sandy, Utah, the conference brings together photographers and photo enthusiasts from all around the country and offers opportunities for learning and networking. The event is open to members as well as non-members. 

Based in Pacifica, California, Stephen Johnson concentrates on landscape projects exploring wild, endangered spaces and human-altered lands, creating images that depict a respect for the land and a real-world celebration of the human relationship to nature. He is known for his photographic craft and for his dedication to making fine prints, excelling at sharing his knowledge and passion for photography. He is the creator of touring exhibitions, five books, three portfolios and has been teaching photography since 1978.

A former physicist based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Michael Clark is an internationally published outdoor photographer specializing in adventure sports, travel and landscape photography. He is also a commercial photographer and works with many well-known clients such as Apple, Nike, Fujifilm, Red Bull, Microsoft, Adobe, and National Geographic. He has been featured in Digital Photo Pro, Outdoor Photographer, Nikon World, Digital Photographer, Rangefinder and New Mexico Magazine.

Founded in 1994, the Wasatch Camera Club is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing technical skill-building through lectures, workshops, field trips, exhibits and critiques, while fostering an aesthetic appreciation of photography. Their mission is to promote the enjoyment, mastery, and furtherance of the photographic arts through social, educational and cooperative efforts.
