Ogden, Utah ( United States )

I am interested in many forms of art. I have also spent a lot of years in a technical career. With digital photography, I have been able to combine my artistic passions with my technical skills.
My family is my primary focus in all that I do, they provide me with the inspiration and values that drive me to specialize in family oriented photographic services.
I am certified by the New York Institute of Photography as a professional photographer. I am a member of both the Intermountain Professional Photographer’s Association and the Professional Photographers of America.
portraits, children, fine art/abstract
I have been painting and drawing for as long as I can remember. When I had to pack up my studio to make room for a nursery in 2000, I bought my first SLR. That was the beginning of my serious interest in photography.
Little kids, especially the ones Mom says won't smile for me.
My Nikon D80 is my so-called workhorse, backed up with a D70s. I use AlienBee strobes in the studio, and Nikon SB-600's on location. I currently dream of a 12-24mm Nikkor lens.
Professional photography is about more than taking pictures. It is a specialized service that, at its finest, depicts a world that is more wonderful than we take the time to realize, but that exists nonetheless.
