I am a 17 year old high school student studying photography under Thomas Szlay at West High School. i was born in 1991 in Salt Lake City, Utah. I have been taking pictures seriously for the past 3 years of my life. i have been slowly building my portfolio and i hope to get a scholarship to help get me into well rounded University.
My main photographic interests are:
portraits, fine art/abstract, other
How I got started in photography:
It began my freshmen year in high school when i got my first film camera from my grandmother.
Favorite subject:
People/Portraits.
Years photographing:
Seriously for the past three years, but on and off for the last five.
Equipment:
I use a Canon Digital Rebel XT and sometimes a older model Canon 35mm film camera
Favorite time of day to shoot:
I like to do light paintings so night time, but if I am shooting pictures of people i like early morning or just before sunset.
