Salt Lake City, Utah ( United States )
I recently moved to Salt Lake City from New York City - where I spent the past 10 years living and working in the commercial photo industry (mostly as an Art Director and Producer). I am continuing production work here in Salt Lake as well as focusing on my own personal photography, commercial stock work, weddings, and actor headshots.
portraits, landscapes, children
I've always been interested in drawing and painting so I majored in Visual Arts in college. Photography very quickly became my favorite subject and I haven't put down my camera since.
People. Even my landscapes have everything to do with people.
I've been shooting off and on (mostly weddings) since 2008. Though, it wasn't until last year (2011) that I decided to split my time between being a producer and being a photographer.

Being able relate to and understand people is the real secret to photography. You can spend all your money on the best gear, but making your subject comfortable is what truly separates a good photographer from a bad one.
