pictureline has organized several free camera classes to help you become an expert with your new digital camera. Classes are taught by camera type and include 45min. instruction followed by a 15min. question and answer period. Please check the schedule below and sign up for the class that best suits you. Seating is limited to 12 people for most classes.

Kenneth teaches you from his brand new, 8,000 sq. foot studio conveniently located the heart of Orem. His instruction begins with studio lighting, professional models, and in-studio techniques. Kenneth also instructs on location, using a variety of lighting with professional models to demonstrate how to effectively photograph in any situation. By the end of each seminar, you will come away with an invaluable guide packed with new information, highlighting and outlining the entire seminar so you'll be sure to continue to use these skills in every future photographic opportunity!

Jackson Hole Workshops

Jackson Hole Workshops is a department of the Art Association of Jackson Hole. The program brings nationally acclaimed artists to Jackson Hole, Wyoming to teach workshops open to local residents and visitors alike. The workshops operate out of the brand new Jackson Hole Center for the Arts, an architecturally acclaimed and newly completed $20 million facility with state of the art classrooms, galleries and performing arts spaces. The Center for the Arts is located one block from the historic Jackson town square. Grand Teton National Park begins immediately north of town and the southern entrance to Yellowstone National Park is a 45 minute drive from the town at the north end of Grand Teton. Jackson is surrounded by the National Elk Refuge, National Forests and scenic ranch land. Needless to say, our workshops take advantage of our world class scenic resources and our new state-of-the-art facility.

This is Utahs only – vocationally oriented – adult learning photography school. Over thirty different subjects are offered in an open entry - self paced learning program. Topics are offered by quarterly schedules as evening classes, weekend seminars, and field expeditions. There are classes suitable for beginner through advanced skill levels. Specific subjects for professional business development are offered also. (See Course Catalog on the Website.)
Hundreds of Utah Photographers have enjoyed this training.

Although classes are presented with a vocational perspective, many students attend for reasons of personal enrichment only.

The school is non-accredited. However certificates of completion are awarded for each class. Additionally a certificate of competency is awarded upon completion of the twelve Core Classes, which are referred to as the Photographers Development Series. (PDS)

All classes have been developed and are presented personally by Jon Williams. Legitimate references from noted art educators, professional photographers, and graduate students are posted on the website. (See Jon Williams Biography and also References.)

New participants are invited to meet with Jon Williams personally to discuss their current skills and future goals in photography. There is never a charge for advice or mentoring.
